Akademic
is an academic management system of non-university colleges, designed
with the premise of being simple, efficient and secure. It supports and integrates with the platform PINCEL of the Ministry of Education, Government of the Canary Islands. It provides the following new features that improve both internal processes in the center, such as communication with family:
- The architecture is Web-based, allowing easy access via handheld computers, mobile devices, or computers, via internet.
- It
provides a portal for parents to access whenever they want to their
children's information stored in the platform (truancy, behavior,
grades, etc). It also allows concert dates with the guardians of their children.
- SMS communication of incidents and warnings from school to the parents of the students instantly. Allows both mass and custom alerts. This messaging service works with any operator.
- User profiles are defined for access to information on the platform. A
teacher only access the data of students in the subjects they teach,
the tutors have access to their tutoring students and head teachers can
access all the data and obtain reports and statistical data, etc.
- It also includes an internal ticketing system for staff in the service center and a shared resource pool.
